VISION

Department of Theatre (Theatre and Performance Studies) was started for the academic session 2010-2011 to meet the growing demand of higher studies in different arrears of Theatre & Performance Studies. To meet the growing demand of the 21st century in Theatre & Performance Studies. The course structure as well as the syllabus of the department was updated accordingly. The department of Theatre & Performance Studies is therefore aware of proving quality education. The department provides an excellent and bright young brand of teachers and officers who are deeply committed to university to bring out best graduates in academic discipline and human faculty, whose services and dedication are urgently needed for the reconstruction of our society. The department of Theatre and Performance Studies is operating under the faculty of Arts and currently offers 4 (four) years BA in Theatre and Performance Studies and 1 (one) year MA in Theatre & Performance Studies in 5 (Five) deferent streams be offered. The vision of our department is to be a premier and value-based department of Country, which is committed to achieving excellence by preparing student as successful artist who are efficient, knowledge, selfmotivated and dedicated towards their profession as well.
