As the Head of the Department, I welcome to all of you to visit our Department at office hour. You will find the Department as an unique and different in terms of the academic environment. I, alone with the faculty members, have taken some initiatives which foster our academic, co-curricular and service oriented aspects smoothly which will create a student-friendly environment. The faculty members of the department are excellent and qualified as they have their own expertise on teaching and research. Likewise, the students of all the batches are also dynamic and energetic who are also enthusiastic to engage themselves in different kinds of civic activities. Similarly, the officers of the department are also polite, friendly, and punctual to obey their duties. However, the Department of Sociology is a well-known and reputed department because of its uniqueness and multi-disciplinary activities.
