On 18 October 2023, the Department of Population Science organized a seminar on “Contemporary Population Issues in Bangladesh”, focusing on the demographic challenges and trends affecting the country. The seminar was graced by the presence of two renowned professors from Rajshahi University, who shared their insights on key topics such as population growth, fertility, mortality, aging, urbanization, and migration. Participants engaged in a vibrant discussion on policy implications, population management strategies, and sustainable development, making the event a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and academic dialogue.
