A workshop titled “Field-based Population Research” was organized by the Department of Population Science on 16 May 2022 with the participation of several renowned researchers in the field of population and development studies. The workshop focused on practical approaches to field-based research, including research design, data collection techniques, ethical considerations, and real-life field experiences. Through interactive sessions and expert discussions, the event enhanced participants’ understanding of applied population research and strengthened their capacity to conduct high-quality fieldwork relevant to policy and development planning.

On 29th December 2021, a seminar titled “COVID-19 and Reproductive Health: Bangladesh Context” was held to discuss the pandemic’s impact on reproductive health in the country.
